Cleola A. 'Mickey' Lodge, 91, Newell, died at her home on Saturday, February 3, 2007.
Survivors include one son, Doug Mallula, Las Vegas, Nev.; and two brothers, Don VanDewerker, Alamogordo, N.M., and Nick VanDewerker, Denver, Colo.; four sisters, Nella Allan, North Platte, Neb., Jackie Jacobson, Belling, Mont., Edith Davis, Billings, Mont., and Joyce Sly, Ogden, Utah; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis. No services are scheduled at this time.
Burial will be at Camp Crook Cemetery at a later date.
Cleola A. "Mickey" Lodge, 91, Newell, died at her home Saturday, February 3, 2007. Laurie Kay Mallula, Sturgis, died in January, 1997, in San Francisco, Calif. Combined graveside services for grandmother and granddaughter will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, at Fairview Cemetery in Camp Crook.
Cleola Ann "Mickey" Van Dewerker was born 10 Apr 1915 in Montana to parents Roy M. Van Dewerker and Stella Mary Ward Van Dewerker. Mickey married William J. "Willie" Mallula 24 Oct 1931 in Buffalo, Harding County, South Dakota. Mickey and Willie had sons named Thomas J., and Lawrence Charles Mallula. Willie Mallula died in 1983. Mickey married a man with the surname of Lodge which was the Surname she used at her death.
