Coleen Ann Northrop, 74, of Sturgis, South Dakota passed away June 23, 2023.

She was born on October 25, 1948, to Lowell and Lucille (Antrum) Fichter in Shenandoah, Iowa.

Coleen loved her family, friends, her two dogs and two cats, cooking, stained glass, and gardening. She will always be remembered as an independent, spirited women and a fierce believer in her values. She was a loving force to be reckoned with in her roles as a wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend.

She is survived by her husband, John Northrop; son, Nick Bettis, and two granddaughters Terry Lou Bettis and Mariah Bettis; and brother, Walt "Butch" (Carol) Fichter.
