Colin "Dale" Swallow was born to Victor Swallow and Melidie Ilona Miner-Swallow in Rapid City, South Dakota on July 9, 1968. At 55, Dale passed away at Monument on April 20, 2024. Dale was the oldest of three children and spent most of his childhood outdoors. He enjoyed BMX bike racing and playing football with his friends in his front yard. Dale attended Boys Club until his adolescent years.

He kept many of his childhood friendship over the years into adulthood. Dale was a good relative always willing to help. All his adult life he loved watching car racing and over the years followed five NASCAR drivers with his favorite being Joey Lagano. Dale was an animal lover giving extra attention to the family dogs and rescuing turtles crossing the road.

Dale is survived by father, Victor Dale Swallow; and siblings, Kate Swallow and Vikki Swallow; his children, Kelly Swallow, Amanda Swallow, Nathan Swallow, and Peyton Swallow; and six grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his mother, Melidie Ilona Miner-Swallow and his grandparents.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  We love you and we will miss you, Dale.
