Connie was born January 3, 1948, in Greeley, CO to Wilhelm and Edna Mae (Meads) Wonenberg.

Her most rewarding job was working at the Good Samaritan Center in New Underwood as a CNA. She loved taking care of her resident's. And was able to keep her mom and Aunt Marge at their homes and care for them until their deaths.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was always ready for a game of liverpool rummy.

Connie Jo Stecher, 69, of New Underwood, died Tuesday, August 22, 2017, peacefully at her daughter's home.

She is survived by her brothers, Carl, Jerry and Billie Wonenberg; son, Ron (Jodi) Brauher; daughter, Kammy (Ron) Trullinger; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2017, at New Underwood Community Center, 500 S. A Ave. with Pastor Gary Johnson officiating.
