A celebration of life will be 6:00 pm Thursday, May 29, 2008 at the Black Hills Funeral Home in Sturgis, with Pastor Paul Howard officiating. Immediately following there will be a time for sharing of memories at the Soppe residence.

She left this earth while in her Sturgis home with her husband and two dogs. Cindy spent her last 12 years of her life taking care of her husband, house, yard, and dogs Highway and Ladybug. Cindy gave those around her feeling of peace and love through the faith and love she had for the Lord. Her strength and courage throughout her life with many adversities inspired many around her. She loved the fall weather and winter snow, cuddling, Christmas, Winnie the Pooh, and watching Disney movies. Her caring heart would not allow her to harm anyone or anything. She desired everyone to have the peace she found in the Lord.

Cindy is survived by her husband Chris Soppe of Sturgis, father Charles & Verna Franke Sr. of Sturgis, mother Margaret & Cameron Rinegar of Belle Fourche, brother Charles L. Franke Jr. Wheatland, WY, sisters Charleen L Kallas of Belle Fourche, Christine L Jewett of Belle Fourche, and Danna Gummo of Rapid City.

A memorial has been established to the Hospice of the Northern Hills in Cindy's name.
