Czenzi was born to Herman and Sally on November 6, 1955, in Denver, Colorado. The family moved to San Jose, California when she was five where she later graduated. Z moved to South Dakota in 1974. She always had a love for the hills from her many summers spent at her grandparent's homestead in Black Hawk. She purchased her home there in March of 1979, where she raised 12 kids. Her house was always a place you could find numerous neighborhood kids hanging out. She lived there until her death on January 12, 2022.

Z was an amazing cook. With just a few ingredients, she could feed an army. That passion led her to be a vendor at the Black Hills Farmer's Market for over 20 years. She had well over 30 varieties of goods and beautiful plants to sell each week. In 2011, Z had a massive heart attack and had to retire from the Market. She found great joy in the extra time she had to spend with her family, especially her grandkids. They were her babies. Z recently started making tie-dye shirts. The joy she found in creating colors and patterns for her friends and family made her days much brighter.

Z is survived by her brothers, Kevin (Mary) Knuth and Kurt (Paula) Knuth; her children, Jolene (Chuck) Freeman, David (Meg) Knuth, Herman (Jessica) Knuth, Kyle (Marne) Schierbeck, Laura Schierbeck, Amanda Peacock, Alex Schierbeck, Brittany Norman, Tori Ray Schierbeck, Tyler Schierbeck, Juvalee Schierbeck; her grandchildren, Isabella, Thomas, Elizabeth, Daniel, Maddie, Abby, Sarah, Hailey, Chloe, Hunter, Brent, Sophie; 23 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Czenzi was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Bonnie Seewalker.

A Celebration of Life will take place on January 24, 11:00am, at Black Hawk Community Church.
