Dr. Dale Arthur Hogen, 76, of Newell, South Dakota, finished his race peacefully on Wednesday June 4, 2025.

He was born on September 5, 1948. He was first and foremost a family man who loved uncompromisingly. Dale served in the US Army from 1968-69. Dale served the Newell community as an MD for a major part of his life.  His efforts were apparent and appreciated by many in Newell and the surrounding community.

Dale is survived by his wife, Kathy, Newell; brother, Marty, Bozeman, Montana; son, Tyler, Newell; grandsons, Eli Meyers, Calhoon, Georgia, and Kelton Hogen, Baker, MT. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Jane Hogen; daughter, Misty Hogen; and son, Justin Hogen.
