Daniel "Dan" K. Bruner was born on October 22, 1941, to Otto and Christine (Thom) Bruner in Wagner, SD. He proudly served in the US Navy.
Dan, 78, of Hot Springs, died Monday, August 3, 2020, at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital.
He is survived by his sister, Rosemary (William D.) Maher; nephews and nieces, Greg, Michael, PJ, Cheryl, Lisa, Mary, Teresa, and Colleen; as well as numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Charles; and his sister, Marilyn.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 6, 2020, at the Michael J. Fitzmaurice State Veterans Home in Hot Springs. Committal service, with military honors, will be held at Black Hills National Cemetery at a later date.
