Daniel Harold Hehn was born on August 9, 1956, at Deadwood, South Dakota, with Cerebral Palsy. He was baptized into Christ immediately. He began a life-long battle to overcome the effects of his disability. He passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the age of 59 at his home in Sturgis, SD, of natural causes.

Danny graduated from Spearfish High School and worked for the Homestake Mine in Lead, SD. He was given full disability when he was diagnosed with narcolepsy in addition to his CP. He lived his final years in Sturgis, SD. Danny was very loyal to his friends and deeply loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Charlotte (Backhaus) Hehn, his sister, Patricia, and his nephew, Adam. He is survived by his sister Diane (Bruce) Alkire, six nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
