Anaconda, Montana native Daniel L. Johnson, of Sturgis, S.D., died June 25, 2008, in Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, S.D.

Dan worked at the Anaconda smelter, Berkeley Pit and Montana State Prison.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 30, in Black Hills Baptist Church in White-wood, S.D., with the Rev. Richard Counts officiating. A luncheon will follow at the church.

Kinkade Funeral Chapel, Sturgis, is handling arrangements.
