Visitation for David Leo Brunner, 18, rural Vale, were Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006 at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at the Austin Auditorium in Newell with Fr. Arnold Kari officiating. Burial follows at the Vale Cemetery.

David died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2006, at his home near Vale with family and friends around him.

Memorials have been established to the St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Newell or the Hospice of the Northern Black Hills.

David was born September 13, 1988, at Sturgis, to Joel and Renita (Dendy) Brunner. He was raised on the family farm and he was a student at Newell High School.

David was a fan of the Minnesota Vikings and he enjoyed playing computer and video games. He also enjoyed his home and being with family.

Survivors include his parents, Joel and Renita Brunner, Vale; grandmothers, Mildred Brunner, Vale, and Dorothy Brazil, Garrison, MN; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother Sean(59933074)and grandfathers: H.L. Brunner and Thomas Dendy.
