Custer | David Deeds Dixon, 77, passed away on May 1, 2017 at Custer Regional Senior Care.
David was born on January 23, 1940 in Ashland, Kentucky to Charles and Theresa (Simpson) Dixon.
He proudly served in the US Army for four years during the Vietnam War era.
He is survived by his sister, Julia (Bill) Teater, New Lebanon, Ohio; two nieces, Theresa and Carie Dixon; a nephew, PJ Dixon; and his dear friend, Steve Thorpe, Rapid City.
Davis was preceded in death by his two brothers, Charles and Tom Dixon; his parents; and his grandparents.
Per his wishes cremation will take place and no local services are planned.
