David T. Grusing, 74, of Rapid City, passed away Saturday September 1. David was born March 7, 1933 in Hilbre Manitoba. Married Mary Lynda Ybarra March 9, 1959 in Spearman, Texas. David and Lynda moved to Rapid City in 1969. David retired from Nash Finch after 30-plus years of service. After retirement David and Lynda spent many hours volunteering in a bible education work. Survived by his wife Lynda, three children: Mark (and Jenny) Grusing of Jordan MN, Michelle (and Nathan) Chamberlin of Radford, VA, Eric (and Colleen) Grusing of Allentown, PA. Grandchildren: Michal (and David) Bynum, Aaron Chamberlin, Ian Chamberlin, Stephan Chamberlin, Lukas Grusing, and Chloe` Grusing. Great Grandchildren: Sasha Bynum and Katerina Bynum. Brother and Sisters: John (and Evelyn) Grusing of Belle Fourche, SD, Betty (and Roy) Smith of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Helen (and Lorne) Collie of Hilbre, Manitoba, Bud (and Martha) Grusing of Bragg Creek, Alberta, Alice (and Earl) Hedlund of Diamond City, AR, Esther (and Gary) Hunter of Mountain Home, AR, Marye (and Ken) Poitras of Hilbre Manitoba, Phyllis (and Glen) Haywood of Richmond IN, and many nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Teuntje Grusing, brothers, Frank and William, and sister Faith. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday September 10, 2007 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 1111 Oriole Drive, Rapid City.
