Obituary

On August 26, 2011, in the early morning hours, our beautiful friend fell asleep in death. His name was David Anthony Hunsucker; you may have known him as David Anthony. David was a talented pianist and composer who's creativity was boundless. He composed many tunes inspired by the beauty and adventure of the Black Hills. But David was much, much more than a talented artist, he was a beautiful soul.

David and Debi were married nearly forty years when he fell asleep in death. Those of us who were privileged to spend time with them could sense the true unending love they had for one another. During that time they raised two daughters; Lana and Jodi, and one son; Keylan. From these children sprang three beautiful grandsons of whom David and Debi treasure and cherish.

David and Debi were very active in their faith together and dedicated many hours in the Kingdom preaching activity. Side by side they shared the message of Christ's kingdom to whom ever they could. David served as an elder of the Deadwood congregation of Jehovah's Christian Witnesses until his final breath.

A memorial service is being held, Friday, September 2, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express in Sturgis.
