David Myers, 68, of Rapid City, South Dakota passed away on November 14, 2024.

David graduated from Rapid City Central high school in 1974. David served in the United States Air Force for three years, spending most of his time in Germany. David made the most of any time off while in Germany to travel all of Europe. David worked various truck driving jobs; even taking his cat in the truck traveling the entire United States.

Always a free spirit, David, lived most of his life in the Rapid City area and in particular he loved his several years living in Hills near Pactola Lake and Hermosa. During his Hills living David enjoyed watching, listening to, and feeding his birds and squirrels. David's great joys were riding his Gold Wing motorcycle and his Siamese cats. David was a great fan of eating at buffets, especially when they had some kind of lemon dessert.

David was predeceased by his parents, Don and Estelle Myers also of Rapid City.

To Estelle and his siblings David was known as 'Buddy'.  Survivors include his four siblings: Dale (Paula) Myers, Carol Brady, Candice (Ken) Bruns, and Christine (Mark) Myers.  Also surviving David was his best friend since first grade, Don Roberts also of Rapid City.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
