David Campbell was born in North Dakota to Thomas and Florence Campbell. During his childhood, his family relocated to Hot Springs, SD, where he finished high school before joining the Air Force. He was honorably discharged from service in 1964 and married Ina Faye Jurens on July 25th of that year. Together they had two children, Rich and Wanda.

Dave enjoyed a career as a plumber for Culligan for 30 years before retirement. David had a lifelong love of fishing, hunting, and camping, and was lucky to have had a partner for his outdoor adventures in his loving wife, Ina.

David is survived by his son, Rich and daughter-in-law, Amy Campbell and their children, Jennie (Drew), Casie, and Kyle. He is also survived by son-in-law, Cody Barden and his children, Justin (Victoria), Paige, and Charlie; as well as 5 great-grandchildren, Ana, Michele, Lincoln, Theodore, and Jackson.

According to David's wishes there will be no formal funeral service, but he will receive the honors of a military burial.
