David Henrik Riesland, 83, died on Friday, July 8, 2016 in Dickson, TN.

Mr. Riesland was born January 1, 1933 in Rocky Point, Wyoming. He obtained a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. David served his country in the U.S. Navy with assignments including the USS Cimarron. He worked for France Electrical Solutions for 20 years, and he retired from General Electric with 20 years of service.

David is survived by his two daughters, Deborah Nance (Bert), Illinois, and Denise Vollmer (Chuck), Indiana; his son, David Ross Riesland (Donna), Oklahoma; step-daughter Jan Street; step-son Rickey Street; 6 grandchildren, Katherine Gatto, Stephanie Nance, Zach Cole, Lucy Johnson, Dottie Vollmer, Ellie Riesland; step-grandchildren, Douglas Street and Phillip Street Jr.; 5 great grandchildren Makayla Johnson, Donavon Johnson, Alex Johnson, Ben Cole, and Samantha Cole; and 3 step-great grandchildren, Jessica, Mattie, and Sara Street.

David is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Riesland; and the wife of his second marriage, Ruby Riesland.

Services will be held at Black Hills National Cemetery on Friday July 15, at 11 a.m.
