David M. Wessling was born May 15, 1961, passed away Friday, May 14, 2021 at the age of 59.

He was predeceased by his father, Vincent M. Wessling and is survived by his mother, Billie Lash; wife, Debby; and siblings, Vince, Monica, Dan, Cindy, and Jerry.

David was known for his kind heart, generosity of spirit, and deep love for animals and fishing. He grew up in Raytown, MO, where he attended Raytown South High School. David was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and lived the latter years of his life in Iowa and South Dakota, where he felt closest to nature and was best able to care for his many pets.
