Debora Keckler was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to Gordon and Romona Sieveke. Her Siblings are Sandra Wood and Brian Sieveke.

Debora grew up in Terraville S.D., which is now Lead, S.D. She married Bill Covell and they had three children Shawn, Travis, and Julie. Debora and Bill later divorced, and Debora married Darrell L. Keckler on September 6, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Debora loved gardening, reading, spending time with her dogs and family members. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband, mother, and stepfather. Debora worked for 20 years at Tin Lizzies Casino as a manager. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Debora is survived by her husband, Darrell L. Keckler; daughter-in-law of deceased stepson, Samantha Keckler, (daughter: Alayna, son: Corbin); sons, Shawn Covell, (daughters: Catlin, and Kylie), Travis and wife, Cheri Covell (sons: Troy, Kyle, and Brett); and daughter, Julie Covell-Linneman and her husband, Nick;  and mother, Mona Tinker.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gordon Sieveke; stepfather, Dick Tinker; stepson, Justin L. Keckler; aunt, Janice Kay Mittelstadt, and aunt, Louray Donner.
