Deborah L. Huber, 64, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at her home in Sturgis.

She was born in Deadwood, SD on August 17, 1955, she was the third of five children born to Palmer and Beulah (McKay) Carlson. Deborah grew up in the Lead area and attended school there.  In 1973, Deborah gave birth to her only child, Destiny.

Deborah moved to Sturgis in 1982 and worked various jobs over the years. She enjoyed gardening, dancing, collecting angels, and all things Elvis.  Deborah was a devoted mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all those who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David Carlson; and sister, Pamela Murphy.

In death Deborah leaves behind her spouse, Michael Bueno; daughter, Destiny Wheeler; four grandchildren, Cody, Savannah, Owen, and Adam Wheeler; brother, Elvin (Thyra) Carlson; sister, Ilene Carlson; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Black Hills Funeral Home with Father Timothy Castor officiating. Burial will take place immediately following the service at St. Aloysius Cemetery in Sturgis.
