Debra (Friemak, Smith) Debot, 67, of Rapid City, SD, passed away Tuesday August 29, 2023, in Irene, SD.

Debra was born August 1, 1956, in Eureka, SD to Oliver and Mary Jane (Haynes) Freimark. She was blessed to share a birthday with her best friend and sister Donna.

Debra lived in many places throughout her life, but her favorite was Hawaii. She for many years was a CNA and later attended Beauty Academy and worked as a hairdresser.

She is survived by mother Mary Jane Freimark, Hot Springs; sister, Donna (Lyle) Hartshorn, Rapid City; son, Darrell (Mona) Smith, Whitewood; son, Chris Smith, Rapid City; grandchildren Lynn Smith, Whitewood, Karlee (Colt) Gibbins, Sturgis, Clayton Smith, Spearfish, Rylie (Riley) Smith, Brookings; great grandchildren, Clinton and Carter Gibbins, Sturgis; special aunt, Patsy Haynes, Rapid City; nieces, nephews and many more loved ones.

She was preceded in death by father, Oliver Freimark, and husbands, Roger Smith (1996) and Al Debot (2018).

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 5, 2023, 1:00 p.m., Kinkade Funeral Chapel, Sturgis, SD, with visitation one hour prior.  Burial will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery.
