Debbie was born March 16, 1966, in Deadwood, SD, to Fredrick and Patricia (Dunn) Goff. Growing up in Sturgis, SD, she was a part of Job's Daughters and spent the summers camping with her family, as members of the Black Hills Hillbillies and Key City Ramblers Camping Clubs.
She graduated from Sturgis Brown High School in 1985. After high school, she attended Job Corp in Anaconda, MT, and graduated in 1986. While Debbie was attending Job Corps, she met Michael Huwe and the two were married August 7, 1987. Michael and Debbie had three beautiful daughters, Lisa, Jessica, and Julie.
Upon graduating from Job Corps, she worked as a certified nurse's assistant taking care of the elderly before devoting her time to raising her family. Debbie enjoyed cooking, baking, taking her daughters fishing, and camping. She was known by her friends and family as a loving and compassionate person who always wore her heart on her sleeve and was always there to help anyone in need.
Debra Kay "Debbie" (Goff) Huwe, 52, passed away September 5, 2018, at her home in Sturgis, SD.
Debbie is survived by her daughters, Lisa Heidrich, Rapid City, Jessica Huwe, Maricopa AZ, and Julie (Robert) Bartlett, Rapid City; parents, Fred and Pat (Dunn) Goff, Sturgis; brothers, Michael (Marty Jacob) Goff and David Nightwine, Rapid City; sister, Sheela (Dale) VanDamme, Gillette, WY; sister-in-law, Pam Nightwine, Marinette, WI; nine grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her special friend, Ken Trigg, Casper, WY.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Fred "Squeaky" Nightwine; one grandson, Kyrie Wilton; and her paternal and maternal grandparents.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 17, 2018, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel, Sturgis.
