Debra Jo Wedlund, 58, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

She was born on April 10, 1961 in Eau Claire, WI to David and Twyla (Kohn) Vaningan.  Debra grew up in Eau Claire and graduated from Memorial High School in 1979.  She moved to Hill City, SD in 1989 and has worked at Krull's Market for over 20 years managing the bakery/deli.

Debra is survived by her spouse of 28 years, Ben Kotan; daughter, Jessica DeWitt; son, Justin Wedlund; brother, Scott Vaningan; sisters, Sherry Tibbits, Shelly Kanke, and Sheila Vaningan; two grandchildren; and former spouse, Chris Wedlund.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Twyla Vaningan.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
