Delores "Dee" L. Koch, 92, Sturgis, SD, passed away Friday, June 28, 2024, at Fountain Springs Healthcare Center's Hospice Unit in Rapid City.

Graveside Services for Dee will be at 11:30 AM, Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD.

Dee was born October 2, 1931, in Rhame, ND, to Joseph and Ruth Kulseth.  She was raised in Rhame, where she attended school through the 8th grade.  She met Milton Koch from Jamestown, ND, she was a waitress in Bowman and he was working construction on a grain elevator there.  They were married on October 10, 1949, in Bowman.  They both began working for Successful Farming Magazine, living in various communities, until moving to Sturgis in 1967.  In 1970, they started Milt's Carpet Cleaning.  She was involved in the family business until her passing.

She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, serving many funeral lunches at the Vet's Club through the years.

She had also been a member of the Grace Lutheran Church.

Dee is survived by her son, Mike Koch, Sturgis; brother, Russel Kulseth, Bowman, ND; granddaughter, Misty Robertson and her children, Ashley, Isabel and Jack; grandson, Josh (Sarah) Gleason and his sons, Ayden, and Jaxsyn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Ruth, husband, Milt, and daughter, JoDell Gleason.
