Dennis Carl Darney 67 of Rapid City passed away Friday, July 11, 2008 at the Fort Meade VA Medical Center. A graveside service will be 2:00pm Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at the Black Hills National Cemetery, with Rev. Dwight Stensgaard officiating. The Sturgis Veterans Honor Guard will provide military honors. Survivors include his wife Millie Darney of Rapid City, children Denny Darney of Reno, NV, Michael Darney of Lodi, CA, Brian Darney of San Francisco, CA, Mike Fauth of Rapid City, Tom Fauth of Mesa, AZ, brother Richard Darney of Conowingo, MD, sister Rose Janet Keys of Carmichaels, PA, Kathleen Ostrem of Mesa, AZ, 11 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother. A memorial has been established to the Fort Meade Hospice in Denniss name.
