Diana Lee Burt was born May 16, 1949, to Clarence (Pat) & Dagny Burt at Buffalo, South Dakota. Diana passed away on July 2, 2021, due to a motorcycle accident in Belle Fouche, SD.

On July 18, 1970, she married the love of her life, Chuck L. Davis, Sr., in Buffalo, SD, and two children were united, Chuck L. Davis, Jr., and Darann Davis. Diana has held many jobs in varies places:  Belle Fourche SD, Spearfish, SD, Bowman, ND, Baker, MT.  Diana was the South Dakota WIC nurse for several years; she took much pride in this job. She loved seeing all the new babies and new mothers by helping them with the benefits. Diana took a break from her nursing career and started working at the Pioneer Bank and Trust for several years.  After Diana retired, she didn't like sitting at house so she started working at the Harding County School as a lunch lady. She loved seeing all the kids daily, they all brighten her day.

Diana loved spending time with family and friends. Her highlights were attending her grandchildren activities such as Rodeos, Wrestling, Basketball, Football, Volleyball, Baseball, and Softball tournaments. She enjoyed going to the #3 to have coffee and play cards with her friends.  The Harley Davidson was her life she loved riding with Chuck to different places. You just never know when they might show up at your place or just stop in to say "Hi" and visit. They loved to ride the Black Hills and sight see everything.

Diana is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Chuck L. Davis, Sr.; son, Chuck L. Davis, Jr. (Polly); daughter, Darann Davis (Travis); brothers-in-law, Dale Davis, and Junior Schmidt; special cousin, Helen (Rick) Van Dewerker; special friends, Gerald (Gail) Braateen; six grandkids, Charg (Shayla), Cache, Cinch, McKenzie Jo, Riley and Brandin; two great-grandkids, Thad Richard, and Sophia Ann; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Diana was preceded in death by parents, Clarence (Pat) & Dagny (Davidson) Burt; mother and father-in-law, Arnold & Lorraine (McKown) Davis; brother-in-law, Donnie Davis; sister-in-law, Linda Schmidt; and granddaughter, Mary Jo Davis.

Funeral services will be July 30, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Harding County High School Gym, with Pastor Tom Martin officiating.  Interment will be at a later date at Black Hills National Cemetery.
