Don Dale Duncan, 81, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

Don was born in New Underwood, SD on December 23, 1940 to Boyd Alonzo and Priscilla Lois (Hayes) Duncan.  He joined the United States Navy on June 30, 1958 and proudly served until November 14, 1961.  While serving in the Navy he was an aircraft radio technician.  He was honorably discharged while stationed on Midway Island.  After serving in the Navy, he worked on area missile sites.  Don owned Radio Spectrum in Rapid City, SD and Tri-State Communications in Gillette, WY.

He married his best friend and soul mate, Patty on April 9, 1983 and with that he gained two daughters.  Don was a family man and enjoyed camping with family and friends in the Big Horn Mountains.  He also liked to take in a game of tennis every now and then.  One of his favorite past times was taking in a game of backyard baseball with his grandkids in Gillette.  He was a member of Gideon's ministry for many years.

Don is survived by his wife, Patty Duncan, Gillette; daughter, Julia Duncan, Connecticut; son, Jeff (Lois) Duncan, Boise, Idaho, and his children, Elizabeth, Ester, and Sarah; daughter, Lisa Brocar Duncan, Rapid City, and her children, Asa and Bethany; step-daughters, Tonia Ray, Gillette, and her children, Felicity and Tayson, and Heidi (Cody) Little, Gillette, and her children, Kolter, Avree, Raylee, and Lager; sister, Ina Dustman, Newton, NC, and Connie Davis, Austin, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmom, Lila Duncan; and his sister, Phyllis Elliott.
