Donald W. Fralick 89 of Rapid City passed away Monday, November 15, 2010 at a local nursing home.

A memorial service will be 2:00 pm Friday, November 19, 2010 at the Black Hills National Cemetery will Fr. Bill Zandri officiating. The Sturgis Veterans Honor Guard will provide full military honors.

Donald was born to Ada and Max Fralick May 2, 1921 in Bijou Hills, SD. He grew up and attended schools at Eagle Nest Butte, Wanblee Headly Ranch, Spearfish, and Lead. In 1942 he entered the United States Army 2014 Ordinance Dept. In 1960 he started working at the Homestake Mine retiring 1983. In 1985 Don moved to Rapid City.

Survivors include his nieces Lin and husband John Carr of Spearfish, SD, Barbara Wherry Tucson, AZ, Carol and husband Bill Brumagim Loveland, CO, nephew Jeffry Mattson of AZ, numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

Black Hills Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Sturgis has been entrusted with the arrangements.
