Donald Raymond King, 79, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019 in Sturgis.

He was born on May 23, 1939 in Platte, SD. He proudly served in the United States Army for eleven years.  After his discharge from the Army he worked for Homestake Goldmine for 41 years.  After his retirement from Homestake he worked at Silverado in Deadwood for eight years.

Don was preceded in death by his loving wife, Hilda; his parents; and two siblings.

He leaves behind three daughters, 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 10 am, Monday, May 6, 2019 at Black Hills National Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the Sturgis Volunteer Honor Guard and the United States Army Honor Guard.
