RAPID CITY | Donald "DJ" Van Norman Jr., 27, died Feb. 14, 2014, at Rapid City Regional Hospital. He was born Sept. 5, 1986, at Rapid City Regional Hospital. He was a framing carpenter for McKenzie Witt Construction, which he really loved doing. He was a very loving son, brother, uncle, and grandson. He was loved by many people. He was funny, caring, smart, loving, a hard worker and provider. Survivors include wife, Sara Van Norman; a daughter, Tori; a son, Raymond; father, Donald Van Norman, Sr.; mother, Becky Eite and husband, Rod; brother, Connor Heck; maternal grandmother, Carole Wertenberger; paternal grandparents, Wayne and Shirley Van Norman; stepfather, Ron Heck; stepbrother, Brad; stepsister, Kaylie Eite; stepbrother, Josh Van Norman; stepsister, Brooke Van Norman; half sister, Destiny Van Norman; aunt, Vicky Yatsko and husband, Joe; uncle, Wayne M. Van Norman; and a nephew, Geoffrey. He will always be loved and missed! Upon request, cremation has taken place and services will be planned at a later date.
