Donna Mae Nelson, 73, of Greeley, CO died Friday, May 20, 2011 at Centennial Health Care Center in Greeley, CO.

Graveside funeral service will be Monday, May 23, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, SD with Pastor Skip Smith officiating.

Donna was born September 21, 1937 to Vern and Agnes Heberling Price at Fort Meade, SD.

On July 6, 1956 she married Richard Nelson at Tahlequah, OK. Richard's work took them to Oklahoma, Colorado and Arkansas before settling in Sturgis. Donna worked as a police dispatcher in Sturgis for 25 years. In 2003 she relocated to Greeley.

Donna is survived by a son Bud Nelson of Greeley, CO; a daughter Kim Nelson of Rapid City, SD; a brother Jerry D. Price of Whitewood, SD; and 5 grandkids, Amy, Jesse, Jon, Bobby, and Dana.

She was preceded in death by both parents, her husband and three brothers Billy, Buddy, and Bobby Price.
