Donna Pearl Taylor, 77, of Sturgis formerly of Rapid City, SD, died in Sturgis on Sunday, June 5, 2022.

Donna was born, May 31, 1945, in Rapid City to William and Clarcie (Gilles) Muller. She attended school in Rapid City, living there her entire life. She met and married Dennis Taylor and together they raised and showed paint horses for many years, helping to establish the APHA in South Dakota. Though she liked to stay home, she loved her family, and the many friends she had along the way.

She is survived by her son, James Taylor, Sturgis, grandson, Mitchel (Jasmine) Taylor, Spring Lake, NC; one great-granddaughter, Remington Pearl Taylor, Spring Lake, NC; one sister-in-law, Toni Chastain, Indianapolis, IN; and many, many special nieces and nephews whom she held near to her heart.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis, one son, Mitchel; sisters: Linda Muller, Betty Phillis, Gail Cox, and Sally Brown; brothers: Billy Muller, Don Muller, and Bob Muller.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at St. Therese the Little Flower Catholic Church in Rapid City with an interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Rapid City, SD.
