BELLE FOURCHE - Dorine Mary Celeste, 85, died Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Belle Fourche Health Care Center - Long Term Care.

She served in the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include her children, Toni Jarnecke, Newell, Vincent Celeste, Vernon, Conn., Marc Celeste, Bristol, Conn., Dori Celeste, Jacksonville, Fla., and Cari

DeMarco, Worland, Wyo.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Armand Fiorillo Jr., Bristol; and sister, Beverly Sassu, Old Saybrook, Conn.

Funeral services will be at a later date in Middletown, Conn.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice of the Northern Hills.

Dorine (Fiorillo) Celeste, 85, a resident of Belle Fourche, SD for the past five years and formally of Bristol, died Saturday (April 21, 2012) at the Belle Fourche Long Term Care Center. She was born and educated in Bristol a daughter of the late Armand J. Fiorillo Sr. and Thelma (Cargill) Fiorillo and was a graduate of Bristol High School and the former Waterbury School of Nursing.

Upon her graduation from nursing school she enlisted in the United States Navy Nursing Corps as a Lieutenant JG stationed at the Bethesda Naval Station Hospital during the Korean War. After her honorable discharge from active service she returned to civilian duties as a registered nurse working private duty and for various nursing facilities in Bristol.

She was the former wife of the late Vincent J. Celeste and leaves two sons, Vincent Celeste of Vernon, and Marc Celeste of Peterborough, NH; three daughters, Toni Jarnecke and her husband Mark of Newell, SD, Dori Celeste of Jacksonville, FL and Cari DeMarco and her husband Albert of Worland, Wyoming; her brother, Armand Fiorillo and his wife Marsha of Bristol; and a sister, Beverly Sassu and her husband Matt of Old Saybrook; five grandchildren, one great-grandson and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
