Doris K. Lund 79 of Whitewood died Friday, September 23, 2005 at Rapid City Regional Hospital. She was born in Moosejaw Saskawan, Canada on October 2, 1925. She moved to St. Paul, MN at the age of 3 years old. Doris graduated from Monroe High School in St Paul MN. She married Arnold L. Lund in 1957 and had their first son in 1958. The family moved to California where they were blessed with their second son in 1963. While in California Doris worked many years at both the 3-M Company and the Bank of America. She moved to Sturgis in 1990 where she worked at Lynns County Market in the bakery for a few years and then moved to Whitewood. Doris was a Rebeckah for many years and worked for the Foster Grandparents Program. Survivors include husband Arnold of Whitewood, sons Arne Lund of Whitewood, Ray Lund of Sturgis, Daughter in Law Kathy Allen and grandson Nicholas Allen. Doris was a Great Wife and Wonderful Mother and will be missed greatly. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Black Hills Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Sturgis.
