Dorothy "Dot" Elizabeth Busfield, 91, passed away September 17, 2014, at Clarkson Health Care, a nursing home in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Dot was born January 26, 1923, to Frank and Anne (Harnett) Kimball in Aladdin, Crook Co., Wyoming. In 1941 she was united in marriage to Amos Busfield of Allegan Co., Michigan. They lived in Cheshire Twp., Allegan Co., Michigan, where Amos was a farmer and Dot was a farm wife and homemaker. Upon retirement from farming, the couple moved to Florida, where they resided in St. James City for twenty-five years, moving to North Fort Myers in 1994. Amos died in 2002, and Dot remained in their North Fort Myers home until early 2013, when she moved to Rapid City to share an apartment in an assisted living facility with her sister, Jane.

Dot is survived by her sister, Jane Bunch, of Rapid City; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Thomas McQuade, of San Diego; son and daughter-in-law, David and Mary Ann Busfield, of Chelsea, Michigan; honorary daughter and son-in-law (actually, niece and nephew) Pati and Gary Grajczyk, of Rapid City; grandchildren Loren (Elsie) McQuade, Terri (Bill) Heil, Kay (David) Deering; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and one great-great-grandson.
