Obituary

Doug passed away peacefully with his family at his side on May 18, 2013 in Seattle, WA. Our beloved son and brother, was the rock of our family and will be sorely missed. He had a difficult struggle with pneumonia, he was surrounded by his loving mother and his brother.
Doug was born on April 10, 1967 in Seattle Washington. He attended and Graduated from Lincoln High School, during his time in high school he got to meet a young gold medal boxer by the name of "Sugar Ray Seales", he worked and spend time with Doug and each day he would greet Doug saying "Wanna Fight"! Doug never forgot that and countless times would say "Wanna Fight".
Doug worked at Vadis Northwest for almost 20 years, and then he worked for Randy Allen Furniture Co. and Smith Western in Tacoma. He also volunteered at Salvation Army.
Doug was also very active in the Special Olympics for events in track field, bowling and softball. Doug loved hiking, snow shoeing, pillow fights with his brother, sitting in his hot tub, the Christmas cruise on a boat, playing games with family, the family cabin, his music, TV shows and cartoons.
Doug has special friends that he has gotten to know and love like his roommates and the staff that took care of them all. His favorite friends were Gumby and Pokey, Spongebob and his rubber snakes.
Doug loved everyone, he brought a lot of love and happiness to others. He was Daddy's little angel and his Dad was everything to him and since his father passed away last year, Doug kept looking for his daddy. Doug leaves behind a mother and a brother that loves him dearly, he also leaves a great legacy of his smile and love reaching others.
