Doylene (Dee) Gage of Sturgis, passed away the morning of Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at the age of 77.

Dee was born in Sheridan Wyoming on May 10, 1944 to Doyle and Ruth Copple. She was a graduate of Sheridan High School in 1962. She was married to her first husband Ron Fillmore in Hawaii in 1962, with whom she had 3 children Gina, Earl and Maili. On July 22, 1967 she married the love of her life of 53 years, Jack Gage. With this union they had 2 children, Jacilene and John (Scott).

Dee was a devoted mother to her 5 children, 14 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. She loved kids, camping with her family, fishing, flowers, and growing gardens. Dee often spent her later years with her beloved husband causing trouble in the Monument Health Sturgis Care Center.

Dee will live on in our hearts through the kindness she's shared and the love she brought into all of our lives.

A visitation will be held at Kinkade Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held at the Black Hills National Cemetery with her late husband, Jack, a U.S Marine Honor Guard Ceremony on September 8th at 11:30am.
