Duane Aaron Standing Bear, born in Rosebud, South Dakota, in October 1940, peacefully transitioned into the spirit world in Bismarck, North Dakota, in May 2024.

A man of remarkable talent and diverse skills, Duane excelled in various trades including artistry, mechanics, welding, electrical work, and music. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish his own welding and mechanical business, "Tanky Welder," where his craftsmanship was revered for years. Alongside his professional pursuits, Duane found joy in traveling and cherishing moments with his beloved family.

Duane leaves behind his devoted wife, Jacqueline; son, Dalton; and daughters, Patricia and Maria; as well as seven cherished grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his children, Aaron, Robin, Duchess, and Robert, along with his parents, siblings, and other loved ones.

Duane's absence will be deeply felt by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of ingenuity, love, and resilience will forever remain in our hearts.
