Dwight David Morel, 14, of Sturgis passed away at his home Friday March 17, 2006. Dwight was born June 15, 1991 in Dickinson, N.D. At the age of 1 Dwight moved with his parents Lora Morel-Globstad and Harry Globstad to Box Elder, SD. Then in 2001 the family moved to Sturgis. Dwight attended Douglas School in Box Elder, and Williams Middle School in Sturgis, and was a student at Sturgis Brown High School at the time of his death. Dwight is survived by his parents Lora Morel-Globstad and Harry Globstad, Grandparents George and Marie Morel of Dickinson, a stepbrother Boen Bo Globstad and a stepsister Corin CC Globstad of Dickinson, 13 aunts and uncles and 15 cousins. Dwight was preceded in death by his Grandparents Henry and Marjorie Globstad of Glendive, Montana and an Uncle Curtis Morel of Dickinson, ND From an early age Dwight loved being in the outdoors hunting and fishing, especially fishing. The only thing that made Dwight happier then fishing was riding his four-wheeler in the Black Hills behind the family home outside Sturgis. Dwight Tiny was active in Marine Corps JROTC and FFA at Sturgis Brown High School and enjoyed the activities associated with them. Dwight loved cars, music, and playing video games with his friends and family. Dwight didnt have a lot of friends but the ones he had were very special to him. His closest friend and second Mom was Monica Most and we know he loved her as much as she loved him. Dwight lived and loved with all his heart and will be sadly missed and always remembered. Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday March 25 at the First Presbyterian Church 1319 Junction Ave in Sturgis, with Reverend Roger Crowhurst officiating. The Marine Corps JROTC color guard will be in attendance.
