Edward C. Findley 79 of Deadwood passed away Sunday, June 19, 2005 at his home with his family by his side. A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2005 at the Black Hills National Cemetery, with Fr. Bill Zandri as celebrant. The Belle Fourche Honor Guard will provide full military honors. Survivors include sons Jim Findley, Gene Findley both of Deadwood, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. His parents, sons Dennis in infancy, Tom, one sister, and one brother, preceded him in death Arrangements have been entrusted with the Carlsen & Aldinger Funeral Home of Sturgis.
