Edward H. Kleinheksel, 67, Whitewood, passed away February 18, 2015, at his home. He was born July 21, 1947, in Ft. Pierre, SD, to Alfred and Anna Kleinheksel.

Edward moved to Lead, SD, and attended school there. In later years moved to Whitewood, SD. He worked at Homestake for 35 years as a Miner.

He loved having fun, calving out cows, farming, haying, running and driving tractors and all aspects of the ranching life.

He is survived by by one brother, Dale and Virginia Keinheksel of Freeman, SD; nephews, Donnie and Dave; his nieces, Michelle, Lisa, Barb, and Debbie; and numerous, great-nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Anna Kleinheksel, and one brother, Roy Kleinheksel.

Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. February 22, 2015, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services will be Sunday, February 22, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Kinkade Funeral Chapel, Sturgis,SD.

Inurnment will be at a later date.
