Edy Marie Phelps 54 of Piedmont passed away Sunday, November 20, 2005 at her home. A memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2005 at Piedmont Valley Lutheran Church, with pastor Howard Stockman officiating. Private family interment was held at the Phelps Green Cemetery at Piedmont. Edy was born February 13, 1951 at Faulkton, SD to Clifford and Ethel (Christensen) Hirchert. She was well loved and always knew how to make your heart feel better. WE WILL MISS HER. Survivors include her husband Robert Phelps, her three children Jean Wise, Robert Phelps, James Phelps, son-in-law Rick Wise, and her granddaughter Alexandra Wise all of Piedmont. Her parents, and her brother Vernon Hirchert preceded her in death.
