Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Dyke 0Betty was born November 11, 1933, to George and Anna Hoggatt in the basement of their home in Lead, SD. She spent her life in Lead where she attended high school, and briefly attended Black Hills State Teachers College in Spearfish, SD. Betty married her
husband, Donald, on her birthday in 1956. Betty was active in Rebekahs where she served as local and state president for many years. She was also active in the Lead First United Methodist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir.
Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Dyke, 78, Lead, passed away on October 25, 2012, at Belle Fourche Senior Healthcare.
She is survived by her brother, Ralph Hoggatt; four children, Deborah (Randy) Fredericksen, Daniel (Candace) Dyke, Dianne Dyke (Randy Inman), and Dennis (Connie) Dyke; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sister, Catherine Mangold; and brothers, John and Gerald.
A memorial has been established to the Trinity United Methodist Church in Lead.
