FAITH - Erwin G. Hoffman, 84, Faith, died Sunday, March 9, 2008, at Fort Meade Veterans Affairs Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Hoffman, Faith; two stepdaughters, LaVonne Rook, Roundup, Mont., and Lynda Galinat, Pierre; one brother, Rienhard Hoffman, Grand Forks, N.D.; one sister, Hilma Kramer, Elgin, N.D.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, March 13, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis, and from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a Christian rosary at 7 p.m., at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Faith. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 14, at the church with the Rev. John Heying and the Rev. Larry Brown officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis with military honors by the Faith American Legion.

Memorials have been established to St. Joseph's Catholic Church and to the Faith Area Community Center.
