Everett Gunwald Ainsworth, 43, Rapid City, died Sunday, May 5, 2013, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis with Rose Ginsbach officiating. Burial will follow at the Boneita Springs Cemetery.

Everett was born March 2, 1970, in Spearfish, SD, to Carl Dean and Bertha Ann (Syers) Ainsworth. He grew up in Belle Fourche and the Bacliff, TX, area before the family returned to South Dakota. He joined the US Army and was medically discharged. Everett worked as a handyman in the Rapid City area for many years.

Survivors include two sons, Nathan Woods, Rapid City, and Cole Ainsworth, Orem, UT; one daughter, Elizabeth Ainsworth, Orem, UT; and three sisters, Carla Ainsworth, Bacliff, TX, Evelyn Borko, Anchorage, AK, and Angela Smyle, Rapid City.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
