Florence Irna Collins 95 of Faith, SD passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at the home of Cleo and Art DeKnikker.

Funeral services will be held 11:00am Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at the Faith Community Center in Faith, SD, with Rev. Harold Delbridge officiating. Visitation will be held at the Center from 9:00am until service time Tuesday. Following the luncheon at the Center interment will follow at Bear Butte Cemetery at Sturgis.

Irna was born December 13, 1914 at Turtle Creek, SD south of Faith to Fred and Francis (Hunn) Gabriel. She attended school and grew to womanhood there. On August 8, 1932 she married the love of her life Leo L. Collins; for 72 years they enjoyed the ranch life style near Howes, SD. She was the last survivor of the core Gabriel family of Freda, John, Floyd, Paul, Earl, and Frank.

Surviving and mourning her death with aching hearts are her children, Bob (Jennie), Jim (Linda) Collins, Cleo (Art) DeKnikker all of Faith, Marie (Albert) DeKnikker of Cambridge, ID, 18 grandchildren, 50, great-grandchildren, 32 great-great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Vera (Harold) Dutton of Spearfish, Ilma Gabriel of Faith, Tressa Gabriel of Philip, SD, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her husband, infant daughter, parents, siblings, two grandsons Ross Collins, Stuart DeKnikker, and great-grandson Jeffrey Collins.
