Florence E. Rainbolt, 89, Newcastle, died on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at Weston County Manor.

Florence was born on August 8, 1925 to Emil B. and Mary Alice (Mitchell) Dumcke in Sturgis. She moved to Newcastle in 1952, where she worked for the State of Wyoming. She eventually retired from there. During her lifetime she was active in 4-H, Boy Scouts, and usually had multiple entries in the county and state fair for many, many years.

She was survived by three sons, William D. Rainbolt, Upton, WY, Robert J. Rainbolt, Newcastle, and Tomas L. Rainbolt, Torrington, WY; two sisters, Jeanne Cain, Leesburg, FL, and Lillian McKenzie, Alturas, CA; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

Florence is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William L. Rainbolt; son, James A. Rainbolt; brother, George Dumcke; and sister, Orien Blessing.
