Frank LaVane Barden, Jr, 52, Box Elder, SD, passed away July 1, 2015 at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

He was born to to Mary Jo (Hackworth) and Frank LaVane Barden and graduated from Douglas High School in 1981. He went to work in Coeur d' Alene, ID, where he met Twana, they later married in Sturgis. They were parents of two children. He lived in Coeur d'Alene until November of 2013 when he moved back to South Dakota. Frank loved country music, stock car races.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Barden; grandfathers, George Hackworth, Ted Barden, and Dean Hix; grandmothers, Olive Baldwin, Sarah Barden, and Philamine White Buffalo.

Burial took place in Bear Butte Cemetery, Sturgis, SD.
