Frankie L. Suthern Jr., was born on October 2, 1962, in Helena, Arkansas to Frankie Sr. and Ann Suthern.

He graduated from Dell High School in 1981 and entered the US Air Force in 1981 and served for 10 years before his honorable discharge. Frankie met the love of his life; Carrie and they were married in 1983. Together they had three children and traveled while Frankie served in the military. After he left the military, Carrie and Frank worked together for many years.

Frankie loved basketball, football, fishing, and spending time with his wife, children, and grandkids. He had a big heart and gave all his time and attention to his family.

He is survived by his wife, Carrie; children, Christopher, Misty, and Marty (Bree); brother, Ronnie; twelve grandkids; and many nieces and nephews.

Frankie was preceded in death by his parents, Ann and Frankie Sr.; brother, Barry; and his mother-in-law, Mary.

He is gone, never forgotten and he is forever in our hearts.

Services will be held Friday, November 22, 2024, at 12:30 pm at Black Hills National Cemetery. Following the service at the cemetery the family will be having a celebration of Frankie's life at the Fremont Apartments Activity Room, 1920 Fremont Street in Rapid City.
