Fredrick "Fred" Corrigan, 64, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018 at his home in Rapid City.

Fred was born November 8, 1953 in Boys, MT to John and Emily (Thorson) Corrigan. The young family moved to the Hoover, SD area when Fred was about a year old.  He attended school in Newell, SD graduating with the Class of 1972.  After graduation Fred joined the Army.  He proudly served for a short time before he was injured and given an honorable discharge. Fred returned to the Newell area where he remained until moving to Rapid City.

He is survived by his mother, Emily Thorson; sisters, Gerri (Dave) Lucas, Darlene (Roger) Cheshier, and Linda Walker; and brothers, Randy and Phillip Corrigan.

Fred was preceded in death by his father, John Corrigan.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am, Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Black Hills National Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the Sturgis Volunteer Honor Guard and the South Dakota Army National Guard.
